1. Tell us a little bit about yourself! Where you’re from...what your passion is...favorite food...memorable place traveled to...and your enneagram # (if you know it!)
My name is Stephanie Hall, and I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. I’ve always had a sense for adventure and exploring off “the beaten path”. Married with my love for movement, this has taken me to some beautiful places throughout the last 20 some-odd years. One of my most memorable places I’ve traveled to, and one of those God-defining moments, was in a sunflower field just at the bottom of Assisi in Italy. I love what I do, who God has made me to be, and who He has allowed me to do life with. If not inside of a studio or hiking outdoors, you are most likely to find me sharing a glass of wine with some of my most cherished people.
2. What sets your soul on fire? The kind of fire that makes you feel completely alive?
I’m an intercessor by God’s design, but I’m also a mover. I have felt my most “alive” when I am operating in those two realms, especially inside of a company of people who are called to the same. When our movement becomes our intercession, and environments start to change…it literally feels like Heaven on earth.
3. What have you been learning about living life to the fullest?
I am a very passionate person and passionate about what I do and what I am called to do. I have found, though, that sometimes living life to the “fullest” is simply being in the kitchen baking my favorite recipe. Or floating down the river with my friends on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Or spending time with family on the back porch listening to them tell their funny stories.
4. What decisions have you made in your life to more fully receive God’s best for yourself?
Ooh! Measuring God’s best from what is good is something I feel I need to be reminded of often. The one thing I have found that helps me to receive the Father’s best for me is rest. Rest in my soul from striving.
5. What is your advice to anyone asking the question, “How can I live with more purpose and intention?”
Dream. And write it down. Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the LORD answered me and said, ‘Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may be able to read it easily and quickly as he hastens by.’” (AMP version)
When we allow ourselves to sit and dream, our hearts will speak to us….. God has placed His mark on you and He has dreams for you; but He also has given you the ability to dream and create. Those dreams are seeded in the soil of your heart. Take time to be quiet and let your heart speak. And then write it down. When we write things down, it takes it from the ethereal, makes it definable and a lot more achievable.
